SafeStart™ is an Advanced Safety Awareness Program that addresses human error.   SafeStart™ is not about telling you what to do, nor is it designed to replace the sound engineering or good management practices that you currently have in place.   It will not replace your current training program on specific workplace hazards.

What SafeStart™ is about is how to keep those hazards in mind and in sight, not only on the job, but off the job and on the road as well.   SafeStart addresses how states like rushing, frustration, fatigue and complacency can potentially lead to making an injury causing error.   However more importantly, SafeStart™ has four simple Critical Error Reduction Techniques that reduces these state to error patterns, thereby reducing injuries not only at work, but at home as well.   Over 2 Million people in 40 countries and in 30 languages have been trained on SafeStart in the past 10 years.

We decided to join the Chamber of Commerce after we were invited to the ASSE Pacific Rim conference, as both a keynote speaker, as well as technical session presenters.   We realized that Hawaii was a territory that we have not previously worked with due to distance.    As a result of the conference, we also scheduled a full workshop while we were in Honolulu and the Chamber of Commerce was very willing to work with us.   We decided that joining the Chamber of Commerce would be a good opportunity for us to determine the opportunity in this region.
