The keynote speaker for this event will be the Honorable Neil S. Abercrombie, Governor, State of Hawaii. The purpose of this event is to introduce our community business leaders to a local initiative called Hawaii Hires Heroes and to share with you the resources available for hiring our service members and veterans. Service members and veterans have proven themselves to be hard working, team driven and goal oriented. They possess the skills to bring great value to your company. VS2 is a LLC composed of VSE and the Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, a CB&I Company. VS2 is a major Federal Government prime contractor providing public works and logistics services for the U.S. Army at multiple locations. Representatives from VS2 will conduct a briefing for area small business on upcoming opportunities in Hawaii and the EAGLE program overall. VS2 representatives will meet with small business one-on-one. Appointments may be scheduled prior to the event by completing the attached registration form. Those with appointments should provide the VS2 representatives with a capabilities statement or brochure that includes their capabilities, past performance, and other pertinent information.
